Your Contribution Helps Make It Happen

Membership and program fees at The Family YMCA do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs.  It is our policy that "No one is turned away due to inability to pay."  To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay, we truly need your help. In 2006, nearly $50,000 was awarded in financial assistance. 

Through our annual "Strong Kids" Campaign, your contribution helps us provide program support and financial assistance such as childcare scholarships to families who need it in Los Alamos and our surrounding communities. 

Annual Campaign funds also help us make major purchases for programs like the activity bus that was obtained in 2004 for our childcare program. 

An endowment to The Family YMCA is one way to ensure creating a tong-term and positive impact for this community.  A planned, charitable gift may be made in a variety of ways.  For more information on the YMCA's endowment program and our Heritage Club, please contact Linda Daly at (505) 662-3100.

The Family YMCA is a United Way Agency. Members, volunteers and staff are encouraged to support the United Way of Northern New Mexico/Los Alamos.
